Smart contract development
Smart contracts written to hold real value.
We write, test, and deploy smart contracts that manage assets, automate agreements, and move payments on-chain. Every contract is built with clear specifications, extensive testing, and a plan for upgrades and independent review.
- Solidity, Rust, and Move
- Test suites with fuzzing and invariants
- Upgradeable contract patterns
- Ready for independent audit
How we think about contracts
Code that cannot be quietly patched deserves more care.
Once a smart contract is deployed, its mistakes are public and often permanent. That changes how we work. Before writing code we agree a precise specification: who can call each function, which states are allowed, and what must never happen. Those rules become the tests that the contract has to pass.
We favour small, readable contracts built on well-reviewed libraries, with access control and emergency controls designed in rather than bolted on. When a contract needs to evolve, we choose an upgrade pattern deliberately and document the governance around it, so that your users know exactly who can change what.
Smart contract services
From specification to mainnet.
We cover the full contract lifecycle, including the parts that are easy to skip and expensive to get wrong.
01 Specification and design +
- Requirements
- State machines
- Threat modelling
- Architecture
Plain-language and technical specifications covering roles, state transitions, edge cases, and failure modes before any code is written.
02 Asset and token contracts +
- ERC-20
- ERC-721
- ERC-1155
- SPL tokens
- Standards compliance
Contracts that issue, hold, and transfer fungible tokens, NFTs, and tokenised assets using established standards.
03 Business logic and automation +
- Escrow
- Multisig
- Revenue splits
- Time locks
- Oracles
Escrow, multi-party approvals, revenue sharing, and rule-based workflows that execute exactly as agreed.
04 Payment and settlement contracts +
- Stablecoins
- Recurring payments
- Settlement
- Fee logic
On-chain payments, subscriptions, streaming payments, and settlement flows using stablecoins or native assets.
05 Testing and verification +
- Foundry
- Hardhat
- Fuzzing
- Invariant tests
- Slither
Unit, integration, fuzz, and invariant tests, plus static analysis, so behaviour is checked against the specification.
06 Upgradeability and governance +
- Proxy patterns
- UUPS
- Timelocks
- Multisig
- Pausable
Proxy patterns, timelocks, and multisig governance chosen to balance flexibility with the trust your users place in the contract.
07 Audit preparation +
- Documentation
- Coverage reports
- Known issues
- Remediation
Clean code, documentation, test coverage reports, and a known-issues list that help an independent auditor work efficiently. We arrange the audit with you.
08 Gas optimisation and review +
- Gas optimisation
- Code review
- Refactoring
- Best practices
Review of existing contracts for gas costs, readability, and risky patterns, with clear recommendations and fixes.
What you gain
Contracts you can explain, test, and defend.
-
Fewer surprises
Rigorous testing finds edge cases before your users or attackers do.
-
Controlled change
Upgrade and pause mechanisms that are transparent and governed, not hidden.
-
Lower gas costs
Efficient code keeps transactions affordable for you and your users.
-
Automated agreements
Rules execute the same way every time, without manual intervention.
-
Smoother audits
Well-documented, well-tested code helps independent auditors focus on what matters.

How we work
A disciplined path to deployment.
-
01
Specify
We agree roles, rules, and invariants in a written specification you sign off.
-
02
Build
We develop the contracts on proven libraries, with tests written alongside the code.
-
03
Verify and audit
We run static analysis and fuzzing, then support the independent audit and fix findings.
-
04
Deploy and monitor
We deploy via scripted, reviewed releases and set up monitoring and alerts on-chain.

Tell us what you are working on. A senior engineer will reply with honest advice and a suggested next step.
Book a call →Which blockchains can you write smart contracts for? + −
Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains such as Polygon, Arbitrum, and BNB Chain using Solidity or Vyper, Solana using Rust and Anchor, and Move-based chains. We recommend a platform based on your users, fees, and ecosystem needs.
Can smart contracts be changed after deployment? + −
Only if they are designed to be. Upgradeable patterns allow changes under defined governance, such as a multisig with a timelock. Immutable contracts offer stronger guarantees to users but no fixes. We help you choose deliberately.
Do you audit smart contracts? + −
We are not an audit firm. We test thoroughly, run static analysis and fuzzing, and prepare documentation, then arrange an independent third-party audit with you and fix any findings before launch.
Can you review contracts someone else wrote? + −
Yes. We can review existing code for risky patterns, gas efficiency, and test gaps, and recommend fixes. This is an engineering review, not a substitute for a formal independent audit.
How long does a smart contract project take? + −
A simple token or escrow contract can take a few weeks including testing. Complex systems with many interacting contracts take longer, and audit scheduling adds time. We give a timeline once the specification is clear.
Are smart contracts legally binding? + −
That depends on the jurisdiction and how the contract is used alongside conventional legal agreements. We build the code; the legal position should be confirmed with your own legal advisers.
