Product engineering
Build the product your users keep coming back to.
We help founders and product teams turn an idea into working software, then keep improving it as real users arrive. Strategy, design, engineering, and delivery sit in one team that cares about outcomes, not just tickets.
- Discovery before code
- MVP in focused increments
- Design and engineering together
- Built to scale from day one
Our approach
Products succeed when the right things get built first.
Plenty of software gets built on time and still fails, because it solved the wrong problem or arrived with features nobody used. We start by understanding your users, your market, and what success looks like, then shape the smallest version of the product that can prove it.
From there, we iterate. Each release is measured, feedback flows back into the plan, and the architecture grows with the product rather than being thrown away at the first sign of traction. You get a partner who thinks like a product owner and builds like a senior engineering team.
Product services
Everything a product needs, from first sketch to scale.
Join us at any stage: an idea on a whiteboard, an MVP that needs rescuing, or a growing product that needs a stronger team.
01 Product discovery +
- Workshops
- User research
- Problem framing
- Success metrics
Workshops, user interviews, and competitor review that turn assumptions into a clear problem statement, scope, and success measures.
02 UX and UI design +
- User journeys
- Prototyping
- Usability testing
- Design systems
User journeys, wireframes, clickable prototypes, and a visual design system tested with real users before development starts.
03 MVP development +
- Scope control
- Rapid delivery
- Production-ready
- Launch support
A focused first release that delivers the core value, built on production-quality foundations so it does not need rebuilding later.
04 Web and mobile applications +
- React
- Next.js
- Flutter
- iOS and Android
- APIs
Responsive web apps and native or cross-platform mobile apps that share a well-designed back end and a consistent experience.
05 Iteration and growth +
- Product analytics
- A/B testing
- Roadmapping
- Release cadence
Analytics, experiments, and a steady release rhythm that turn user behaviour into the next set of priorities.
06 Scaling and performance +
- Performance tuning
- Caching
- Autoscaling
- Observability
Architecture, database, and infrastructure work that keeps the product fast and reliable as users, data, and teams grow.
07 Technical ownership +
- Architecture
- Code quality
- Security
- Documentation
- On-call
A team that owns the codebase end to end: architecture decisions, quality standards, security, releases, and documentation.
What you gain
Less guesswork, more product.
-
Clear direction
Every feature is tied to a user need and a measurable goal.
-
Faster to market
A tight MVP gets real users in early, while competitors are still planning.
-
Decisions backed by data
Usage analytics show what is working and what to build next.
-
Foundations that last
Architecture that grows with the product instead of being replaced.
-
A polished experience
Design and engineering work side by side, so the product feels right.

How we work
From idea to product that grows.
-
01
Discover
We define the problem, the users, and the measures of success, and agree a focused first scope.
-
02
Design
We prototype the key journeys, test them with users, and settle the architecture.
-
03
Build and launch
We deliver the MVP in short sprints with regular demos, then launch with monitoring in place.
-
04
Learn and scale
We measure usage, refine the roadmap, and grow the product and its platform together.

Tell us what you are working on. A senior engineer will reply with honest advice and a suggested next step.
Book a call →We only have an idea. Can you help from that stage? + −
Yes. Discovery is designed for exactly that. We help you validate the problem, shape the first version, and estimate it properly before any significant spend on development.
How long does it take to build an MVP? + −
Most MVPs take between two and four months, depending on scope, integrations, and platforms. Discovery usually takes two to four weeks before that and often shortens the build by removing unnecessary features.
Will we need to rebuild the MVP later? + −
Not if it is built properly. We keep the first release small but use production-grade architecture, tests, and infrastructure, so it can grow rather than be thrown away.
Do you provide design as well as development? + −
Yes. UX research, interface design, and prototyping are part of the same team, so design decisions and technical constraints are worked out together.
Can you take over a product another team started? + −
Yes. We begin with a code and architecture review, stabilise anything urgent, and then continue development with a clear picture of what to keep and what to improve.
Who owns the intellectual property? + −
You do. Source code, designs, and documentation are yours, and we can sign an NDA before you share anything sensitive.
